$22 million a year in paid search, managed

Somewhere in your business, hours are leaking into work a computer should be doing, and customers searching for what you offer are finding your competitor instead.
I find that manual, invisible work and I delete it, with a script, a custom tool, or by getting you found on Google and AI search. You get your time back, and your business runs better.
You bring the bottleneck. I build the fix.

01 / The Problem
Most businesses are quietly carrying work that eats time, buries good data, and sends customers to someone else. Any of these hitting a nerve?
Someone on your team rebuilds the same report, re-keys the same numbers, or copies data between tools by hand. Every day. Time you never get back.
Details get missed, your systems don't talk to each other, and you're making decisions on numbers you're not sure you can trust.
People are searching for exactly what you offer right now, on Google and increasingly through AI, and they're landing on your competitor instead.
02 / How I Help
I'm the bridge between business and tech. After 20+ years on both sides, I can sit with your team, see exactly where the work is getting stuck, and then actually build the thing that unsticks it. That usually shows up in two ways.
01
I look at how your work actually gets done, find where time is being wasted and where valuable data is slipping through the cracks or never captured at all, and then I build the fix.
02
I've spent my career in pay-per-click and SEO, putting businesses in front of the people already searching for them. Today that means showing up in AI-powered search too, not just Google.
03 / How It Works
No bloated discovery decks, no six-month contracts. Here's the whole process.
Fifteen minutes. You tell me what's slowing you down, and I tell you honestly whether I can help and whether I'm the right fit.
I dig into how the work really gets done, pinpoint where the time and data are leaking, and scope a fix with a clear cost and timeline.
You get a practical, easy-to-use automation, tool, or search setup, built fast, that keeps paying you back long after it ships.
04 / Proof It Works
At every job I've had, I was hired to run paid search or SEO, and before long I was building the tools the whole team relied on. Here's what that looks like in the real world.
At that scale the reporting has to be right and the decisions have to be fast. I built the systems that made both possible, so the budget went where it actually worked.
A task the whole team repeated every day, rebuilt end to end. Nine minutes back per person, per day, for good.
The real test of a tool isn't launch day. It's whether the team still reaches for it when nobody's making them. Mine are still running.
05 / Who I Work With
Where a few smart fixes free up hours every week: automating scheduling, quotes, and follow-ups, getting more out of your client-management software, and making sure new customers can actually find you.
Especially support and operations teams that need better tools but can't get time on the development roadmap. I've spent my whole career in corporate environments, so I know how to come in as a fresh set of eyes, build what's needed, and work within your process.
06 / About
I've been building on the web since high school, and over 20 years I've started multiple businesses and worked across a wide range of industries. Gorman Works is where I bring all of it together for you.
At Virginia Tech I started in computer science, then switched to Business Information Technology with a focus on Decision Support Systems, because I wanted to work with people as much as with code. That's a mouthful, but it comes down to one thing:
I'm the bridge between business and tech.
Where AI comes in. With AI, I now work as a full-stack developer. I understand how the pieces connect, and I know from experience what works and what doesn't. My robots (yes, I lovingly call them that) handle the line-by-line code, while I focus on the strategy and design that actually move the needle for you. The result: practical, easy-to-use tools, built fast, that help you run better and make more money.
07 / Common Questions
I remove the manual, repetitive work slowing a business down. That usually means building an automation or a custom internal tool, cleaning up reporting and dashboards, or improving how you show up in search on Google and in AI answers. If a task is eating hours by hand, that is the kind of thing I fix.
It depends on the size of the problem, so I scope every project up front with a clear, fixed cost before any work starts. Most small automations and tools are a one-time build rather than an ongoing retainer. The first 15-minute call is free, and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
Both. I am based in Woodstock, Georgia, near Atlanta, and I work with local service businesses in person when it helps. I also work remotely with teams anywhere in the United States, since automation, tools, and search work can all be delivered online.
AI search optimization is making sure your business shows up when people ask AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews for a recommendation. More buyers now start there instead of a plain Google search, so if your competitor is being cited by the AI and you are not, you are invisible at the moment someone is choosing.
No. My whole job is being the bridge between business and tech. You describe the problem in plain language, and I handle the technical side and hand back something simple to use. You never have to touch code or understand how it works under the hood.
Faster than a traditional agency or an internal dev roadmap. Because I use AI to handle the line-by-line code while I focus on strategy and design, most tools and automations go from idea to a working version in days or a couple of weeks, not months.
